在第五讲里，您将学习如何向顾客提供建议，您将学习并练习表示距离的句子以及使用短句子肯定的回答问题。现在请听第一部分的对话，您听到的是酒店前台接待员利奥与酒店客人的对话。

Leo: Hi I’m Leo.
利奥向客人蒙纳怀特女士推荐餐馆
Mona : Hi, I’m Mona White.

Jack: Hi, I’m Jack Webber.

请注意，在描述大致距离的时候,我们可以使用不同的说法，蒙纳在表述说想要找一家酒店附近的餐馆时是这样说的。。。。

语法讲解。在有些时候如果我们只是用简单的Yes 或者No 来回答问题，听起来就会有些过于生硬。其实用短句子回答问题并不是太难的一件事，而且提问者使用的句型中往往就会包含着某种提示。现在让我们一起来听听餐馆服务员琴和她的顾客蒙纳及杰克之间的对话.，请特别注意他们对话中所使用的短句子。
Mona: Do you speak English?
Jean: Yes, I do.
Jean: Would you like to see a menu?
Mona: Yes, we would, thank you.
Jack: Do you have Australian beer?
Jean: Yes, we do.
